Point B Design + Training is a non-profit organisation supporting new ideas, tools and processes for humanitarian development. They have been training multi-ethnic change-makers in design-thinking skills, creating platforms for collaboration and prototyping new solutions to development challenges across Myanmar, Thailand, Bhutan, Cambodia, South Africa and India for over 15 years. In 2013, they established a Learning and Social Innovation Lab at Mawlamyine University (enrolling over 15,000 students) in Myanmar. At Point B, social innovators and entrepreneurs gain the tools and processes needed to identify problems within their own communities, including gathering information, making ideas tangible and continuing to improve them by engaging local partners.
