Hirotake Imanishi (DESIAP)

Hirotake IMANISHI is a Ceramic Artist born in Japan. He received Ph.D. in molecular biology from the University of Tsukuba in 2012. After graduation, he started to study ceramics at Shigaraki Ceramic Research Institute. His work is produced with the theme of fundamental biological power. In both his forms and decorative motifs, he often makes reference to patterns found in common molecular structures.
