Fanny Suhendra

Fanny Suhendra is a design educator and researcher at Swinburne University of Technology whose work explores culturally situated design, pluriversal approaches and the role of local knowledge in design practice and education. Her research and teaching focus on how designers can work more critically and reciprocally across cultural contexts, particularly within Australia and the Asia-Pacific. She has led and contributed to international education, research and partnership initiatives that bring together academics, practitioners and communities to support knowledge exchange, reflective practice and more context-responsive approaches to design.
