Design for Disasters (D4D) was established in 2010. It consists of young designers, artists, and academics. Public participation is also welcome in sharing ideas and find long-term solutions for everyone to be prepared for natural disasters, particularly those resulting from extreme weather, which may attack the city any moment.

D4D – a non-profit network formed out of our ‘intentionalism’ rather than ‘capitalism’ – is a research network and aims to become a platform to exchange the information and knowledge, as well as to encourage people to become open-minded and understand, through designs and creativitie activities. Through their projects, they also encourage cooperation between government agencies, private sectors and non-government organizations, in order to encourage peace, safety, resilience and sustainability in Thailand.
